Eyebrow Tattooing

Never underestimate the power of semi permanent eyebrow tattooing!

Feather Touch Tattooing

Feather touch tattooing, also known as Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create the illusion of a natural, fuller brow. A handheld tool is used to very finely implants strokes with pigment on the epidermis layer of the skin, creating fine, realistic natural hair-like strokes.

Ombre Powdered Brows

Ombré Powdered Brows is the newest trend in semi-permanent makeup. It gives a soft powdered brow look. Once healed, it is more natural looking. It gives great definition and depth to the brows. Whether your looking for a light, soft shading or show stopping bold brows, it can be customised according to the client’s desired look.

Combination Brows

Combination brows are considered the “ultimate brow treatment,” the best of both worlds, working in perfect harmony to achieve a beautifully natural yet defined looking brow. With combo brows, the inner brow is feathered with hair-like strokes, while the tail is powdered for that perfect definition.

Corrective Work

All work that was not completed by Beaudee originally, is considered corrective work. If you have previous tattooing, in most cases you will need to consider Combination or Ombre to cover existing colour. Corrective work is not considered a ‘touchup’. It is more difficult to work over existing shape and colour. Touchup pricing is only for existing Beaudee clients.

Tattoo Touch Up After 2 Years

Only available for previous Beaudee clients.

Tattoo Removal

A salt/saline solution removal is a common, effective approach to lightening tattoos. Although it is a slower process than other treatments, this method is popular because it is safer than other tattoo removal procedures. In addition, a salt/saline solution treatment is ideal for those with darker skin tones, those with sensitive skin, and those who have had an allergic reaction to tattoo pigment. This method can lighten tattoos on any area.

Clients should expect three to four procedures before they see desired results. With this method of tattoo removal, clients can expect the tattoo to become lighter – a full removal should not be expected. The skin can be re-tattooed after the treatment area heals, usually 8 weeks after.

On the day of the procedure, we will have a consultation and discuss your desired brows.  We will do a skin analysis, brow assessment and discuss the best technique recommended to achieve the desired results. We will check for any contraindications and will we work together on shaping and colour selection. Once all is approved, we proceed tattooing the brows.

Before making an appointment, we advise clients to carefully read over the information regarding the procedure, including precare and post care as there are contraindications. Unfortunately, not everyone is eligible for semi-permanent makeup.

In addition, timing is very important as you will go through some healing phases, therefore, if you are planning to go on holiday, have facial treatments pre-booked, or have special events planned, you may want to book your appointment accordingly.

  • Immediately following your procedure, the tattooed area will appear darker and bolder in colour and more sharply defined. This can last up to a week after the treatment while the initial healing process takes place.
  • The complete healing process takes about 6-8 weeks, at which time the true colour of the tattoo is evident. During this process the tattoo will soften and lighten. Be patient, even if you think too much colour has been lost, as your skin is still regenerating and naturally exfoliating. It will take 6 weeks to see the true colour, as it seems to take on new strength and it is only after 6 weeks that your touch-up/adjustment can be done.
  • Swelling and redness is minimal in most clients, and will disappear within 24-48 hours. In some cases, it may last around the eye area for 3 days, but will not prevent working or socialising. The treated area may feel a bit like sunburn afterwards but won’t last long.
  • Avoid using any soaps or cleansers on treated area for the first week as they can be detrimental to the bonding process that must take place for the pigment to stabilise in the dermis.
  • Be sure to only use bepanthen or tattoo balm to avoid excessive scabbing while the tattoo is healing. Apply using a disposable cotton swab. The goal is to have your skin flake off naturally, rather than form into large scabs. So keep it well moisturised and DO NOT pick or scratch at the dry skin/flakiness, let the skin fall off naturally. Picking can cause premature loss of pigment.
  • Once the flakes have fallen off, a shiny layer of skin will completely cover the hair strokes. It may appear as through the tattooed area has completely disappeared. Within 1-2 weeks, the hair strokes will slowly reappear as your skin regenerates.
  • DO NOT apply makeup on the tattooed area for the first 2 weeks. Chemicals of any kind may interfere with the healing and the colour of your tattoo.
